UOOA is a network of established 501 (C)(3) nonprofit organizations that participate in VBO produced collaborative fundraisers as a collective. VBO fundraising events partially benefits UOOA members that participate as fiscal partners and individual teams in friendly competition to raise more money as a collective than they can individually.

Referred to as Campaigns, VBO fundraisers begin with selection of a Fundraising Pillar. VBO transforms fundraising into engaging events with incentives, competition, and the excitement of winning "Jaw-Dropping-Prizes" and giveaways through two types of fundraising events:

1. TEAM EVENTS: These events rely on similar networks and organizations with an ability to tap into a large audience who are always willing to support their events. These events require more lead-time to prepare and execute.
   
   EXAMPLES: PTA & PTO, School Booster Clubs, Scout Troops, Social Service Clubs...
   
   
2. OPEN EVENTS: These events are led by vetted individuals in partnership with nonprofit organizations passionate about a need in the community, a cause, or the needs of an individual within their community.
   
   EXAMPLES: Neighbors helping a neighbor; friends and family raising funds to help someone with medical bills; community members helping fund a need in the community...

All fundraising campaigns are developed using a consistent format to keep them manageable, scalable, and uniform.
