BIO
Patrick "Pat" Cadichon is a native of Chicago's NW Suburbs and graduated from Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL. Pat attended Iowa State University on an athletic scholarship where he studied business management. He is an experienced general manager and director of operations with several years of experience in the retail, service, and amusement industries. After more than a decade in restaurant and retail management, he redirected his career to entertainment and enrolled at Columbia College Chicago where he graduated with honors earning a degree in film and video production.
As a Certified Life Coach with decades of experience in team development and business operations, Pat feeds his creative nature by producing hybrid events designed to educate, inspire, and motivate audiences through engaging entertainment while creating new revenue opportunities for businesses, communities, nonprofits, and people.
Pat's brief work in the media and entertainment industry was instrumental in helping the Oscar winning documentary, The Cove, get distribution in Japan. His work on an undercover sting operation was featured on national news and resulted in the closing of Hump, a Santa Monica, California restaurant that illegally sold whale meat from an endangered species.
As Pat continues to create opportunities that ultimately serve the greater good, he developed the platform VBO.events, a Virtual Box Office that functions as a collaboration catalyst for massive hybrid fundraising events. VBO enables like-minded groups, organizations, and people to participate in joint fundraising events that enable them to leverage the power of the collective to garner more sponsorships to fund Jaw-Dropping-Prizes that incentivize greater participation in VBO’s Collaborative Hybrid Events.
Projects
The VBO.events platform provides functions and tools that powers fundraising models and services created by Pat Cadichon. These tools include online ticket sales that automatically split payments for Rev-share events that require a paywall to view or participate. The following modules create an ecosystem of collaboration between communities, nonprofits, and the people they serve.
VBO Communities maximizes each collaborator’s ability to leverage the concept of “Network Effects” as part of the marketing strategy; a concept that taps into the organic ability of reaching supporters of existing groups and organizations provide tools that help community and organization leaders to efficiently manage their participation in events.
VBO Crowdsourcing facilitates donations in a similar fashion to crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe, Kickstarter, Indiegogo, and Bonfire. Akin to Bonfire, VBO crowdfunding empowers fundraisers to provide apparel incentives to encourage larger donations. Additionally, VBO bolsters each collaborative fundraising effort with the "BeWings.org" apparel campaign.
VBO Prints boasts apparel printing capabilities utilizing the Ricoh RI 2000, a Direct To Garment printer. This empowers VBO to print Rewards Apparel for fundraisers on an as-needed basis, eliminating the necessity of stocking pre-printed Swag.
VBO's Marketplace grants local and national brands the opportunity to sell directly to event participants via a branded online store. This branded online store provides participating brands access to a captive audience and a measurable return on investment (ROI) for each event they sponsor..
VBO.tv provides the excitement of past events, experience the thrill of live events, and access Pay-Per-View events on your SmartTV through our dedicated STB (Set Top Box) apps. These apps are available for Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, iOS, and Android devices, ensuring that you can enjoy VBO's content from the comfort of your living room.
VBO uses a "TEAM / COMMUNITY" based approach to produce unique Collaborative-Fundraising-Events. Our primary event, CAUSETrivia, is a series of hybrid Virtual-Trivia fundraising campaigns that benefits like-minded causes, people, and organizations. On VBO, collaborators are referred to as Teams or Communities which are synonymous and play a major roll in how VBO Collaborative Fundraising events work. The VBO fundraising process spreads the cost among all collaborators, thus reducing the cost for all.
